New Plants for 2013!

Osteospermum ‘3D Berry White’ has double flowers that stay open all day and night.

Local plant retailer Hammon Buck will present on the newest plants for 2013 at Merryspring Nature Center on Tuesday, April 16 at 12:00 noon.

Buck’s vibrant and colorful slideshow will feature the newest hybridized plants available for retail for 2013. The plants to be presented will have made it through market trials around the world, finally ready for retail release this year. Many of these annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs have won awards and have received critical acclaim for their vitality, color, and unique qualities.

Hammon Buck is the owner of Plants Unlimited in Rockland, first opened in 1978. He is a graduate of Cornell University, earning a degree in Landscape Architecture in 1977.

This lecture is the first of the Spring Talk Series at Merryspring, sponsored by The First.

Admission to the Tuesday Talks is free to Merryspring members and children. There is a $5 charge for non-members.
