This Sunday, March 30, 2014, 10:00 AM is the New Member Sunday at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Bangor, 120 Park St, Bangor. The topic will be William Ellery Channing—The Boston Unitarian. On this Sunday we will consider Rev. William Ellery Channing, the first minister to officially call the new movement within the Congregational movement — Unitarian. It was an acceptance of the oneness of God and a denial of the trinity. What gave Channing the courage, strength and the will to set the future course of this religion? It is another part of our history that we discuss little, but it shows how a religion can change and thrive at the same time. We will also welcome new members to our church family. Worship Leader: Rev. Becky Gunn; Worship Associate: Brenda Bywater; Lay Coordinator: Vyvyenne Ritchie; Music: Nancy Lewis. The

Hemophilia Alliance of Maine will receive half of our Sunday morning collection plate offerings during the month of March.
