New Vice President of Human Resources Joins MCMH

ELLSWORTH, Maine — Maine Coast Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome Rosemary Loring as Vice President, Human Resources. Rosemary replaces Karen Dickson who recently retired after 26 years at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital.

Rosemary has an extensive leadership background in human resources, business operations and strategic planning. A Philadelphia native, she comes to Maine Coast Memorial Hospital from Rudman Winchell LLD/Starboard Leadership Consulting in Bangor. Prior to moving to Maine, she owned her own staffing business for 14 years, served as Vice President, Human Resources, for a major Verizon subsidiary and served as Regional Vice President – Retail Banking for First Union National Bank (now Wells Fargo) in the Philadelphia market.

Rosemary is a graduate of Immaculata University and received her J.D. from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), and has achieved its certification as a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) .

“I’m excited to join the Maine Coast Memorial Hospital team and to be part of its strong commitment to patients, staff and the community,” said Rosemary in a press release. She added that she also is looking forward to becoming involved in the Ellsworth area business community and as a Rotarian, joining its noontime club.

Rosemary and her husband Dave, who has family ties to Perry, are empty-nesters as the youngest of their blended family of seven children has just graduated from college. They will be relocating to the Ellsworth area.
