STONINGTON, Maine – Stonington Public Library will host two navigators 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec.7, at the library. Navigators are trained volunteers whose role is to assist individuals to make sense of the application process for health insurance. Their help is free and confidential.

To make an appointment for applying for “Obamacare”, call the library at 367-5926 or the Healthy Island Project at 367-6332. The library is open 1-5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 10 a.m.-noon Saturday. If no one is available when you call, leave a message with a phone number where you can be reached. If you prefer, email the library or the Healthy Island Project at stoningtonlibrary@stonington.lib.me.us or healthyislandproject@gmail.com

We will return your call or email and schedule a time for a private session.

There will be time slots for 12 people so please call as soon as possible. An additional evening with the Navigators will be added if there is enough demand.
