Murder Mystery Dinner to support Local Cancer Patients

Posted Oct. 02, 2012, at 1:43 p.m.

TeamTessa, a local non-profit organization that provides cancer patients with funding for items that otherwise are not covered by insurances in order to ensure that they, and their families, can concentrate on healing rather than worry about economic struggles, is hosting a Murder Mystery Dinner!

It will be a really fun fundraiser on October 13th at the Ellsworth Elks Club on High St. A delicious dinner and a fantastic game of “Who-Done-It” will take place. It’s a 20s themed Murder Mystery Dinner where all proceeds go towards helping local families. Tickets can be reserved on our website, prices are $45/person or $80/couple. Price includes a buffet dinner by former New York City Chef Tom Gutow and also a role in the game. 1920 Era themed costumes encouraged (we’ll be all dolled up!) but certainly not a requirement. We’re hoping that we draw a large crowd as heating season will be tough on many families this year and we’re receiving a lot of requests that we want to fulfill.

If anyone would like to donate to TeamTessa if they aren’t able to come they can do so on the website at www.TeamTessa.org. The website is also a great place to find more information of fill out a request for services form. We hope to see you all there!
