BAR HARBOR — The fun folks at the Jesup Memorial Library are getting into the spirit of “The One-Way Bridge” by Maine author Cathie Pelletier by raffling off a replica of the moose mailbox featured in the book.

Pelletier will be at the Bar Harbor library on Thursday, June 27, at 7 p.m. to talk about her new book, and about the writing life, in an event co-sponsored by Sherman’s Books. The raffle winner will be picked that night at about 8:30 p.m. You don’t have to be present to win, but you do have to pick up your prize in person at the library.

Sherman’s will be on hand at the event that night with books for purchase, and part of the proceeds will go to the Jesup.

Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5, cash only, at the library desk.

For more information, call the Jesup at 207-288-4245.
