Located on Route 90, just east of Route 17 in Rockport, Mid-Coast Recreation Center is a nonprofit committed to the promotion of healthy living for children, adults, and families in our community through sports and fitness programs
Yamuna Body Rolling® is a very powerful self-fixing and maintaining tool that everyone can do regardless of age or physical limitations. An ideal practice for everyone, at all fitness levels, for dramatic and immediate results.
Certified Yamuna Body Rolling® teacher, Marianna Moll, will lead participants through routines using specially designed 6-10 inch balls. Lying over the ball, you roll your body out to increase muscle length, create joint mobility, promote healing of injuries, tone muscles, energize nerve roots and vital organs, dislodge tension and discomfort, enhance blood flow, and stimulate bone. It is a unique approach to health and fitness that helps people feel better, move more freely, gain strength, and eliminate pain.
Yamuna® Body Rolling also is used for its unique ability to prevent and remedy common sports injuries such as tennis elbow, shoulder issues, back issues, as well as foot problems, and to increase abdominal and all over strength and flexibility.
Marianna Moll has been teaching yoga since 1986, and Yamuna® Body Rolling since 2004 and is a certified Level II Yamuna® Body Rolling Instructor. She is also certified to do Yamuna® Body Rolling Therapeutics and Yamuna® Body Logic Practitioner, Yamuna Body Rolling® Therapeutic Face Ball, Yamuna® Table Treatment as well as Yamuna Yoga® and all of these treatment are available in private sessions.
