Mainer’s wanting a safer college campus?

Posted July 10, 2012, at 11:21 p.m.

Apparently Mainer’s wanting a safer college campus are taking things into their own hands, so to speak.

Responsible gun owners in Maine many of which pressue further education in this wonderful state feel that they should not give up the right to carry on Maine’s Colleges. After all they are rigorously screened when they purchase a firearm, and when they apply for a concealed carry permit.

It has been made apparent to may pro and anti gun lobbyists that gun free zones aren’t working to protect the people it was meant to protect, but actually have increased in crime. After all the victims are unarmed.

What does this movement mean for Maine? It is unknown yet, but its is something worth voicing your opinion about.
