ROCKLAND, Maine — Two-term Rockland City Councilor and first term state legislator, Rep. Elizabeth Dickerson announced at the Rockland Democratic Caucus on March 2 that she would seek re-election. Currently serving as the Representative from District 47, Rockland and part of Owl’s Head, Rep. Dickerson serves on the Marine Resources Committee.

“I’ve been honored to work for the people of Rockland and Owl’s Head, and have been effective in furthering our community’s needs in Augusta, and being a strong voice for our district during some really tough times. I look forward to continuing to serve the people of the new House District #93, Rockland and all of Owl’s Head,” said Rep. Dickerson, in a press release.

In addition to serving on Rockland City Council and in the Maine House of Representatives, she is executive director of Northstar Horse Rescue in Rockland, and teaches computer science at Oceanside High School East. She also has served on the Knox County Budget Committee.
