MACHIAS, Maine — The Machias Bay Area Chamber of Commerce is again hosting the annual Trick or Treat on Main Street from 3-5 p.m. Friday, October 25. Last year, more than 500 children participated in the celebration.
Participating businesses will have a bright orange poster in their windows indicating that they are handing out candy and treats to costumed children. Some of the participating businesses include: Down East Community Hospital, Bella Vita, Carquest Auto Parts, Davis Estates, It/Ebay Store, Living Innovations, Machias Motor Inn, Parlin’s Florist, Subway, Hannaford, PCT Communications, JL Huntley, Berry Vines, Blueberry Ford, Eastland Realty, Dunkin’ Donuts, Machias River Redemption, Walls TV & Appliance, Pineo’s Tru Value, B & C Furniture, Skywalker’s Bar and Grille, Machias Town Office, Bank of Maine, French Cellar;
Columbia Falls Pottery, Whole Life Market, Bags O’Rags, Machias Savings Bank, The Office, Machias Hardware, Point East Realty, Main Street Discount, American Legion and Machias Bay Chamber of Commerce.
