BANGOR, Maine — Penobscot Community Health Care (PCHC) is pleased to announce that Luminita Schiop, DDS, Pediatric Dentist, has joined the staff of PCHC’s Dental Center at 1048 Union St., Bangor. Dr. Schiop will provide high-quality oral health care services for children.
Luminita Schiop, DDS, an undergraduate of Barnard College, Columbia University, received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Schiop completed a General Practice Residency at St. Charles Hospital and Rehabilitation Center in Port Jefferson, N.Y., and a Pediatric Dentistry Residency at North Bronx Healthcare Network, Bronx, N.Y. Prior to joining Penobscot Community Health Care, Dr. Schiop provided Pediatric Dentistry in private practice. Robert Allen, Md., MHCM, FACC, Executive Medical Director, states, “PCHC is very pleased to have Dr. Schiop join its Pediatric Dental Staff. Dr. Schiop brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the program and patients will find her to be very caring and competent.”
Dr. Schiop is certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has active memberships in the College of Diplomates of the ABPD, AAPD, ADA, NYSDA, QCDS.
