Living Ecology Earth Day Celebration

Location: Living Ecology Earth Day Celebration, 21 Holyoke St, Brewer, Maine

The Temple of the Feminine Divine presents a Living Ecology Earth Day Celebration. This is going to be an educational and revealing look at what Climate change really is and even more importantly how it will affect us here in Maine. After the presentations the Temple is planning a Celebration and Healing energy for our Earth Mother.

Featured will be:

Dr Dan Belknap of the UMO Dept of Earth and Climate Sciences speaking on “Accelerations in

sea-level rise as a consequence of global change.”

Jeff Norment, Natural Resource Conservation Service, Wildlife Biologist “Vulnerability of Priority Species to Climate Change in Maine

– This would be a brief overview of an assessment by the Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences”

Jennifer McCabe and Jenny Shrum UMO Co Presenting “How climate change could alter the future of your morning breakfast– from bird feeders to pancake toppings.”

We are having some drawings for prizes during the event.

A concession will be available with home baked goods, gluten free baked goods, and non alcoholic beverages
