Libya and American Foreign Policy

Ambassador (retired) Laurence Pope was U.S. Chargé d’Affaires in Libya from Oct. 4, 2012 to Jan. 4, 2013, assuming the duties of the late J. Christopher Stevens, the former U.S. Ambassador to Libya, who had died in Benghazi a month earlier. On Wednesday, March 6th at 5:30 pm, Mr. Pope will discuss Libya and American Foreign Policy with an audience of World Affairs Council of Maine members and friends. This event will be held at the Wishcamper Center, room 133, on the USM Portland campus. The general public is invited to register for the event at www.wacmaine.org.
