FORT KENT – Martin-Klein American Legion Post 133 is having a Vietnam Veterans Welcome Back/Appreciation Night in Fort Kent. The dinner event will be held at the Fort Kent Knights of Columbus Hall with a social hour at 5pm and the ceremony to begin at 6pm. The Maine State Select Honor Guard and the Ceremonial Howitzer will be on hand to honor the nearly 58,000 Americans who never returned from Vietnam. Bugles Across America will provide live TAPS . The First Lady of Maine, Mrs. Ann LePage and the Director of the Maine Bureau of Veterans Services will be on hand to welcome back and honor veterans from the Vietnam ERA. The event is open to the public and we encourage all veterans to consider joining us at this event.

This is an opportunity to show these heroes the appreciation that is long overdue. For more information of this event please contact Duane Belanger via cell at (207) 951-2874 or email at commander@americanlegionpost133.org
