Learn to Advocate for cancer services

Carolyn Hammer, the grassroots coordinator for Maine and New Hampshire for the American Cancer Society’s Cancer Action Network, will make a presentation at the Beth C. Wright Center at 6 p.m. Tuesday May 15, as part of the Center’s Tuesday evening program series.

The Cancer Action Network, the nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy affiliate of the American Cancer Society, supports evidence-based policy and legislative solutions designed to eliminate cancer as a major health problem. ACS CAN works to encourage elected officials and candidates to make cancer a top national priority. Come and find out how you can aid in this endeavor.
