Learn How to Enter the Social Work Field

Belfast. Thinking of a career in the Social Work field? Wonder what job and career possibilities there are for you with a degree in Social Work? Think about it – When Life’s Challenges Arise – Social Workers Are There For You!

Consider the UMaine Hutchinson Center’s course offering — SWK 101: Opportunities in Social Work this Fall on Wednesdays from 4:00 to 4:50 pm beginning September 1st taught by Deirdre Boylan, Social Work Program Coordinator for the Hutchinson Center. This is a great way to answer your questions and get first-hand insight into your future career.

This course introduces students majoring in social work to many course and career options, as well as meeting those in the many fields associated with Social Work. This is a one-credit (pass or fail) UMaine course.
