Learn About New Perspective on Nature and the Economy at Eagle Hill Institute

Steuben, Maine, June 26, 2012 – Dr. Davis Taylor presents “Ecological Economics: An Introduction to New Perspectives on Nature and the Economy” on Saturday, July 7 at 5:30 pm. at the Eagle Hill Institute. This evening is part of Eagle Hill Institute’s “Summer Night Out” Lecture/Dinner Series. Pre-lecture reception is open to the public. Post-lecture dinner with the speaker is choice of entrée with sides, dessert and coffee or tea for $20 per person. Seating is limited. Please call 546-2821 ext. 2 to make dinner reservations.

Dr. Taylor teaches economics at College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor. He explores complex phenomena such as globalization, economic growth and development, and environmental sustainability from an ecological perspective. His other primary interests include forest policy, rural and community development, feminist economics, and ecological entrepreneurship.
