Last chance flu clinic in Belfast on Monday, Feb. 3

BELFAST, Maine — Belfast Public Health Nursing will hold a “last chance flu clinic” for adults 6-9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, in the Education Center at Waldo County General Hospital. The first 80 vaccines will be free and after that, the charge will be $20.

The flu has arrived in Maine with many young and middle-aged adults reporting severe respiratory symptoms.

Belfast Public Health Nursing Association’s mission is to promote and strengthen individual, family and community health through health education and services, prevention, early intervention, referral and collaboration within the Belfast community.

The Belfast Public Health Nursing Association is funded by the city of Belfast, UMCC, private donations, and Waldo County General Hospital.
