Lake George has become a destination of choice for people in the surrounding area as well as others looking for a tranquil spot on the shores of the lake.   Our expenses, which involve the staffing and resources necessary to sustain, maintain, and protect the Park, continue to challenge us. The Park, owned by the State of Maine, and managed for public use by Lake George Corporation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, does not receive funding from the state
