Justin Lipkvich, Mount Desert Island High School Senior wins MIT THINK scholarship

Justin Lipkvich Wins THINK Scholarship from MIT

Justin Lipkvich, a Mariaville senior at Mount Desert Island High School, Bar Harbor, Maine, has been awarded one of three scholarships by the THINK program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The THINK Scholars Program at MIT promotes science, technology, and engineering by supporting and funding projects in development by high school students. It is sponsored by technology companies and educational organizations. THINK Scholars are chosen from among applicants from all over the country.

THINK Scholars receive financial and technical support for their projects, mentoring by MIT faculty and students, an all-expense paid trip to MIT to attend Techfair, personalized tours of MIT laboratories, a $1000 scholarship, and additional awards provided by sponsors.
