BANGOR and WESTBROOK, Maine — Lisa Jepson Wahlstrom, founder of Bangor-based Ovation Fundraising Counsel LLC, has announced that Julie C. Poulin, CFRE has joined the firm. Ms. Poulin, a resident of Westbrook, will assist nonprofit clients with a variety of projects, such as fundraising planning, fundraising feasibility studies, major gift campaigns, and special events.
Poulin is a Maine native and Certified Fundraising Executive, has more than 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She is an experienced fundraiser for capital campaigns, annual appeals, and special events. Her professional background includes VP of Institutional Advancement for Jobs for Maine’s Graduates, Director of Development for Opportunity Farm for Boys & Girls, as well as Associate Director of Development & Public Relations for the Spurwink Institute.
Ms. Poulin is a member of the Maine Association of Nonprofits (MANP), a member of the board for the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Northern New England Chapter (AFP-NNE), and a member of the Maine Philanthropy Center (MPC). She has deep volunteer experience and has sat on the boards of Portland Players Community theatre, the Marine Animal Lifeline and L/A Rotary.
