Celebrate Spring! May 17th at Schoodic Education & Research Center in Winter Harbor. Join us for a day of activities for all ages. Acadia National Park and the Schoodic Institute have combined activities for International Migratory Bird Day and National Junior Ranger Day. The day will be filled with opportunities to explore nature and learn more about the ecology of our region.
8:00 am – Bird Walk
10am – 1pm Jr. Ranger Field Day Celebration & Science Learning Stations for Families with children 12 and under. Light lunch available 11am – 12pm
1pm – Bird Migration Game
1:30pm – Presentation for all ages, Seabirds, Whales, and Marine Life of the Schoodic Ridges, by Zack Klyver (Moore Auditorium).
All activities begin at Moore Auditorium, children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information call 288-1310.
