Journey to China: A compelling presentation of images and stories by Robert Katz

AUGUSTA – On Wednesday, October 24th at 7 PM, the Holocaust & Human Rights Center of Maine will host UMA Professor, Robert Katz’s presentation Journey to China: A compelling presentation of images and stories at the Michael Klahr Center located on the campus of the University of Maine at Augusta.

In the summer of 2012, Professor Robert Katz was invited to exhibit his art at a cross-cultural exhibition at the Jiangsu Chinese Art Academy. This was an opportunity for Katz to travel throughout regions of China visiting historic and memorial sites, universities and museums.

In addition, he was invited to present Were The House Still Standing: Maine Survivors and Liberators Remember the Holocaust for its first showing in China.

There is no fee for this event, though donations are gratefully accepted. Refreshments will be provided.
