AUGUSTA, Maine– Monroe resident Jonathan Fulford turned in over 200 notarized signatures from registered voters in Waldo County, securing his place on the November ballot running as a Democratic State Senate Candidate for Maine’s 11th District.
Over the past few weeks, local builder and small business owner Jonathan Fulford engaged voters at storefronts, local restaurants, and Democratic caucuses to exceed the 150 signatures required to qualify for the November election. Senate candidate Jonathan Fulford says, “I’m pleased to announce that we handed in over 200 signatures to get on the ballot, but the more important numbers on my mind today are the 2,629 people currently uninsured and the 161 jobs that could be created in Waldo County if our current representation in Augusta would support the bipartisan compromise bill to expand Medicaid.”
Jonathan Fulford continued, “I intend to run a clean election campaign and am committed to receiving no funding from out-of-state or corporate interests. I am running to represent the people of Waldo County and no one else.”
