BAR HARBOR – What would make a crayon decide to quit its job?

Find out at the most colorful party of the year, at the Jesup Memorial Library on Saturday, Oct. 12 beginning at 10 a.m.

We’ll read “The Day the Crayons Quit,” “The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse” and “Harold and the Purple Crayon,” plus we’ll make a vibrant mural of our own, along with other fun things. Come get creative with us – try to coax a crayon out of its box to help, and decide where your own purple (or green or orange or red) crayon will take you.

There’s no charge to attend, and no limit on how many kids can participate. This is the next in a series of great Saturday morning programs at the Jesup. For more information, call the Jesup at 288-4245.
