BANGOR, Maine — Penobscot Community Health Care is pleased to announce that Jennifer Kesaris, RN, MSN, FNP-C has joined the medical staff of PCHC’s Community Care and Geriatrics whose multi-provider team serves patients in area nursing homes, rehabilitation facilities, or for in-home visits. Ms. Kesaris’ practice centers on all aspects of high-quality geriatric medical care, including patient physicals, acute visits, health care maintenance, and end of life care.
Jennifer Kesaris, FNP-C, received both her undergraduate degree and Masters of Science in Nursing from Husson University and has more than five years of experience as a practicing Registered Nurse. Prior to joining Penobscot Community Health Care as a staff provider, Kesaris completed Clinical Rotations at PCHC’s Brewer Medical Center and PCHC’s Specialty Clinics among others. Robert Allen, MD, PCHC’s Executive Medical Director, states, “Jennifer Kesaris, FNP-C, brings to Community Care and Geriatrics an interest and significant experience in dealing with hospice patients. She is a very outgoing, personable, and caring provider.”
Kesaris, a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Maine Nurse Practitioner Association, and the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Associations, will be seeing patients at area nursing and rehabilitation facilities.
