The famous southern rock band, Jackyl, will be performing live in concert in Howland on September 15. The band, now famous for its appearance on Tru TV’s reality show “Full Throttle Saloon”, had its start in 1992 with its debut album “Jackyl”. Since then they have recorded eleven albums and performed all over the United States. The band has set two Guinness world records, one for playing 100 concerts in 50 days, and one for performing 21 concerts in a 24-hour period, though the latter has since been broken.

The venue for the concert is Seboeis Stream Camping Area in Howland and is being sponsored by Mudrun Concerts. Tickets and information about the show can be found at or by calling 207-403-0707.
