ITALIAN BISTRO CELEBRATES HALF ANNIVERSARY

The 24 year-old owner, James Gallagher opened La Cena Italian Bistro & Pizzeria back in May. Gallagher added La Cena to his list of 6 other businesses Located in the Bangor area. La Cena is in the old Jimmy V’s Hammond St location, the corner of Hammond and Perkins. Serving breakfast all day, lunch and now dinner!

Since opening in May, one of the best sellers are the Panini’s made on Gallagher’s signature Italian bread. At La Cena you won’t find them taking much out of a package, most of the menu is prepared fresh daily.

Gallagher says that to celebrate their six months they are expanding the hours to Monday thru Thursday 8am to 9pm, Friday & Saturday 8am to 10pm. Also the menu has gotten much larger with more signature dishes, famous bread and fresh handmade pizza dough & sub rolls. In addition to that, delivery now available.

This 24 year-old says many doubted him for taking such a large risk at such a young age. He responds with there isn’t any amount of risk to stop him from following his dreams. Gallagher, now 24 hopes to own 10 businesses by 25, so I have one more year to get 3 more, he said.

La Cena Italian Bistro & Pizzeria, located at 621 Hammond ST. is open Monday – Thursday 8am to 9pm, Friday & Saturday 8am to 10pm. For more information call 947-6222
