FORT KENT, Maine — The University of Maine at Fort Kent will host an Invasive Forest Insect Outreach Volunteer Training session from noon to 4:30 p.m. this Friday, April 26, in Cyr Hall Room 113 on the UMFK campus.
The training session will be presented by the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry, and is for people interested in learning how to recognize invasive forest pests, and how to report findings. Participants will learn how to effectively disseminate information to the public in order to spread awareness.
