ROCKPORT, Maine — Artist Jesse Gillespie will hold a show of collages from 5 – 7p.m. Saturday, July 7, at Pascal Hall, 86 Pascal Avenue in Rockport. The show will continue through July 21. The public is invited to attend free of charge.
The show will consist of collage from the past several years up to the present. In his work, Gillespie metamorphoses found objects into his spare aesthetic. His work embraces mystery. Hinting at representation, it is consumed with questions about the process of art and about what it takes to make art.
