BERWICK, Maine — Due to a traffic signal installation project, the Hubbard Road in Berwick will be closed to all through traffic on Wednesday and Thursday, July 16 and 17, according to a Maine Department of Transportation press release.
The closure will be approximately two and a quarter miles west of the intersection with Rochester Street. The area is down to one lane of alternating one-way traffic using temporary traffic signals. Motorists need to be detoured so crews can install poles for the more permanent traffic signals.
The detour will utilize Route 202 (Carl Broggi Highway), Little River Road and Pine Hill Road.
It is anticipated all work will be completed by the end of the day on Thursday, July 17.
