How To Prepare for a Job Fair on May 08, 2013 in Pittsfield – Free Training

The Kennebec-Somerset Transition Team and the Town of Pittsfield will host a free workshop on Wednesday, May 08, 2013 from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm at the Pittsfield Public Library at the corner of Library Street and Main Street. Job Fairs attract many who are trying to find a new job. Want to improve the odds for getting the job you want? The secret to success at a job fair is preparing in advance. Learn how to make the most of any job fair. Topics will include: (1) What to do before the Job Fair; (2) What to bring; (3) What to wear: (4) What to ask; and (5) What to do after to make a lasting impression. The workshop is free and open to the public. This is your chance to learn from an expert and to increase your chances of obtaining a job at upcoming job fairs. Also attend the Kennebec-Somerset Transition Team and Town of Pittsfield’s Job Fair on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm at the Warsaw Middle School Gym and Cafeteria at 167 School Street in Pittsfield to put some of these tips into action. This is a huge job fair for the region with employers and staffing agencies recruiting for over 100 jobs. Applicants can talk face to face with many recruiters at one time without driving around to multiple locations or applying on-line. This is your chance – take it!
