For many of us, Acupuncture remains a mystery.

How does it work? What does it treat? Does it hurt? and

Is there a place for Acupuncture in Western Medicine?

Most people are very interested in the answers to these questions.

The physiology behind acupuncture is pretty simple, once it is understood. And yet, this idea that it is mysterious and elusive is one that is reinforced in our culture by using terms and phrases like chi and yin&yang, that are simply not a part of our heritage. I will help explain the Nervous System response to acupuncture and the role that it can play in the healthy functioning of all your body systems.
