Hiking Baxter State Park

Posted Feb. 25, 2014, at 12:31 p.m.

Over 12 mostly leisurely days, Carey Kish and his wife Fran embarked on their dream backpacking trek traversing Baxter State Park south to north. Enjoying the scenic wilderness thru-hike, they combined at least a dozen trails and took in every fabulous vista. Four food drops stashed along the way and nights spent in lean-tos and one cabin meant reasonably light packs. There was only one problem…join us for great photos and stories. Co-sponsored by Appalachian Mountain Club, Maine Chapter.

Tuesday, March 11, 7 p.m.
