I am proud to announce that I a candidate for the Republican nomination for Penobscot County Treasurer. I ran for Bangor City Council in 2003 and the Maine House of Representatives in 2004. I am a 2003 Bangor High School graduate and a 2009 Graduate of Beal College. I hold a Maine C.N.A. license and I am working on obtaining my Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialists Certificate from the State of Maine. I am also currently working on getting my Business Degree from Western Governors University. I hope to start classes online in April. Being an adult with Autism Spectrum Disorder, I have worked on serving as an advocate with fellow peoples with disabilities. My primary job is as a caretaker for my elderly parents who are disabled. I believe that if you can be a caretaker of your parents or a parent to children, then any tasks set forth will be easy in comparison. I also believe that the fact that I scored the highest grades in College, on my accounting classes, will be a major plus in me conducting the duties of County Treasurer.
