It’s full steam ahead at the Maine Forest and Logging Museum. 19 tons of steam powered glory come to life at Leonards Mills Saturday, August 16th as the restored 1910 Lombard Log hauler celebrates its grand opening to the public. Only 3 running Lombards exist in the world and two of them are at the Maine Forest and Logging Museum.
10 am – Event opens
11 am – Grady Machine Shop Dedication, see TONS of machines
2 pm – Lombard Log Hauler Grand Opening
Tons of machines on display! Also on display, several Celtracks including a restored 1937 running model,a running Stanley Steamer, plus chainsaws, a 1930’s log splitter, fire trucks and a TimberPro TF 830!
Free for museum members, just $10 for adults and $5 for children 13 and over.
