“Eat Smart, Grow Strong”, a free nutrition and exercise class for older adults (60 and older), will be offered at the Friends in Action Senior Center in the Moore Community Center, 125 State Street, Ellsworth, starting on Monday, May 13, 10:00 – 11:00. This is the first of four sessions and participants can join for any one session or all four. The class is offered in partnership with Healthy Acadia and in celebration of Older Americans Month in May. The series will be led by Shoshona Smith, Nutrition Education Coordinator. The program offers fun and lively activities and participants will learn how to add more fruits and vegetables to their diets, how to make smart food choices and exercise more.
