Health care provider basic life support training offered at SVH

PITTSFIELD, Maine — Sebasticook Valley Health (SVH) is offering Health Care Provider Basic Life Support training from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, April 22, at its conference room on 130 Leighton St. in Pittsfield.

This class is for health care professionals who are required to have a Healthcare Provider Certification.

BLS skills for adult, infant and children, use of the automated external defibrillator, rescue from choking and the use of a bag-mask device are included. This is not a renewal course: it is designed for new certification.

Pre-registration is required. The cost of the class is $60, which includes a textbook. For more information and to register, please call the SVH Community Health and Education department at 487-3890 ext. 2731 (tty 487-4590).
