Hampden Garden Club to Present Talk on Bees

Posted April 18, 2013, at 5:09 p.m.

The Hampden Garden Club will present a talk by Eric Venturini of the UMO School of Biology and Ecology on plant pollinators, especially the bees in our gardens, what chemicals harm them, and how we can enhance our population of native bees. In view of the alarming worldwide decline in bee colonies, this topic is timely and important. The presentation will take on Tuesday, April 23, at 7 pm at Harmony Hall, 24 Kennebec Road, Hampden. Everyone is invited.
