Greater Gator Open to benefit Bob Gagnon Cancer Fund

ROCKLAND — Annual Greater Gator Open, Saturday, Sept. 6, Rockland Golf Club, to benefit Bob Gagnon Cancer Fund, which provides gas certificates to those cancer patients that need a little financial help to travel for their radiation treatments. Four-person scramble with shotgun start at 1 p.m. Early entry fee $100; $115 after Aug. 1, which includes round of golf, Gator cap, lobster dinner and team photo. Two hole-in prizes: 2014 Chevy Cruze sponsored by Fullers GMC; and $10,000 prize sponsored by The Landing Marina — Rockland Car Wash & Texaco Xpress Lube.  Three $100 cash prizes for closest to the pin sponsored by Rockland Cafe.
