DOVER-FOXCROFT, Maine — Gov. Paul LePage, along with State Rep. Paul Davis and other state dignitaries visited Hibbard Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Friday, Nov. 15, while in Dover-Foxcroft.
The governor presented Jane Hibbard-Merrill with a letter that read, of her appreciation for her years of dedication and devotion to the elderly and their families of the community. She has been committed to the long term care and rehabilitation of her patients for more than 50 years and Hibbard Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center has become recognized as one of the top skilled nursing facilities in the state since its’ inception in 1955.
That evening, a reception for Jane was hosted by Dr. David McDermott and his wife Ellen. Representative Paul Davis of Sangerville and Senator, Douglas A Thomas of Somerset County sponsored a Legislative Sentiment that acknowledged Jane’s unsurpassed years of service. First Atlantic Corporation has purchased Hibbard Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and they will continue to provide the high quality care that has become synonymous with Hibbard Nursing Home, Inc.
