Posted Aug. 11, 2014, at 3:19 p.m.

ST. GEORGE, Maine — The Gilchrest-Robinson Reunion and Potluck Picnic will be held at noon on Sunday, Aug. 17, at St. George Grange No. 421, located on Wiley’s Corner Road in St. George.

If you are a Merriam, Barter, Snow, Hocking, Morse, Wiley, Watts, Kinney, Lowell, Fuller, Tripp, Gilchrest, Polky, Stone, Thomas, Grace, Maxcy, Young, Orne, Jackson, Smalley, Kalloch, or any of several hundred other names, you are probably a descendant of Moses Robinson and we hope to see you there.

James Skoglund will read a few interesting letters that were written by family members 150 or more years ago. Attend at your own risk: You might discover that you are a sixth or seventh cousin to your spouse.

For information, call Robert Skoglund at 226-7442 or simply show up.
