On Saturday, February 23rd, the East Coast Ghost Trackers (ECGT) will present two episodes of their film series, “Maine’s Most Haunted”, at the Fort Knox Visitor Center Prospect, at 7 PM. The two episodes will feature the ECGT’s paranormal investigations of Fort Knox and the Penobscot Theater. The two films will be followed by a question and answer session led by members of the paranormal investigating group. Tickets for the event are $10 per person and may be purchased in advance by telephoning the Friends of Fort Knox, at 469-6553, or at the door, on Saturday, 2/23 (seating is limited).

The East Coast Ghost Trackers provide paranormal investigation tours of the Fort Knox historic site during the Fort’s operating season. One lucky attendee of the upcoming film presentation will win a free tour with the group this coming summer. Proceeds from the film presentation will go to the Friends of Fort Knox whose mission is to preserve the Fort and enhance its educational, cultural and economic value for the people of Maine.

Later this year, likely the first of June, a new book will be available from Down East Books, entitled “Haunted Fort”, authored by Camden resident Eliza Walsh. The book explores the reports of paranormal activity, at Fort Knox, and provides a brief history of the historic site. A special event will be held at Fort Knox to celebrate the release of the new book, which will feature a book signing by the author.
