GAC Chemical hires Darryl Coombs as regional sales manager

SEARSPORT, Maine — GAC Chemical Corp., celebrating its 20th year as “Maine’s Chemical Company™”, is pleased to announce that it has hired Darryl Coombs as its Regional Sales Manager.

Darryl is originally from Livermore Falls, and graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a BS degree in Industrial Engineering and has more than 20 years of technical sales experience. During his sales career, he has worked for Buckman, Nalco, the University of Maine Process Development Center and Archroma.  Darryl and his family currently reside in Turner.

According to GAC Vice President of Sales and Marketing John Wolanski; “We are excited to have Darryl join the GAC Chemical team.  With his strong customer relationships and years of successful sales experience, he will help support the GAC strategy to collaborate with our customers and suppliers to provide high quality products and value-added services.  In addition, his knowledge and expertise in the pulp and paper industry will help to strengthen new and existing customer partnerships.”
