The Friends of Rockland Public Library will hold their annual Book, Plant & Bake Sale, on Saturday, June 8th from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm on the front lawn of the library. Members of the Friends will receive special early admission at 8:30 am. Not a Friend but still want to take advantage of early admission? Not to worry as you can sign up to become a Friend the day of the event! There will be a huge variety of fiction and non-fiction available at rock-bottom prices, as well as a wonderful assortment of potted plants and baked goods. Come find the best deals under the sun!

Having you been thinning out your garden or do you have a bunch of gently used books you would like to donate? If so please contact Rebecca Albright at 975-3946. Your donations will help make our event a success!

The Friends welcome year-round donations of used books, videos, DVDs, and CDs in good condition. There is a particular need for children’s books.

The Friends’ used book store on the library’s lower level, the Book Stop, is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10:00am – 1:00 pm all year. All proceeds from sales go to support library programs and collections. For more information please contact the library at 207-594-0310 or visit our website at www.rocklandlibrary.org.
