Staples Homestead in Stockton Springs produces organic wild Maine blueberries (low bush). Now in its 26th year of operation, it is a pick- or rake-your-own facility run by 6th, 7th and 8th generation family members. Opened to the public for the season since August 3, they opened the last section of this year’s fields to blueberry rakers and hand-pickers on Saturday morning, August 17. Sunday the 18th could be the last day open for the season. Saturday & Sunday hours are 8am-5pm as long as the field is dry. Call 207 567-3596 or 567-3393 for more information.
