Youthlinks is gearing up for another summer of free day camp for Rockland area youth. There are exciting schedule changes and program offerings this year.

Thanks to a new collaboration with Headacre Farm in Owls Head, Youthlinks will be offering four weeks of Farm Camp. Camp runs Monday-Thursday from 9:00 am to 3:00pm beginning July 1st. The program is open to current 5th- 8th grade students. Pick up and drop off for the program is at Youthlinks in Rockland.

Mornings on the farm will include games, scavenger hunts and crafts. In the afternoon we will hit the road to continue our summer camp adventure. We’ll work on art projects, play games, hike, swim and have a blast exploring Midcoast Maine. Thursday is field trip day; trips could include beaches, museums and parks.

There are limited spaces available for this free summer camp. Register right away www.youthlinksonline.org or contact Joelle Albury at Youthlinks, 594-2221.

Youthlinks is a program of Broadreach Family & Community Services, a non-profit organization that has been serving the children and families of Waldo and Knox Counties since 1983. For more information or to register, please contact Youthlinks: 594-2221 or visit www.youthlinksonline.org.
