Free Screening of A Matter Of Duty

There will be a free screening of the film A Matter Of Duty on Thursday, May 22nd at the Donald P Corbett Building (DPC 100) on the University of Maine campus in Orono.

A Matter of Duty details Kennebec Sheriff Randy Liberty’s personal battle with PTSD and several veterans in his charge at the Kennebec County Jail. Liberty’s honesty about his own condition and his efforts to help other veterans vividly depicts the continuing impact of war on the men and women who have served our country.

Doors will open at 5pm for a military resource fair. The film begins at 6pm and runs approximately an hour. From 7-8pm there will be a panel discussion with Sheriff Liberty, his wife, and mental health professionals.
