Fire victims fundraisers being worked on in Millinocket

Due to a devastating fire at the home of Betty Jo and Mike Austin of Millinocket on Saturday January 4 a fund has been set up at the Katahdin Federal Credit Union and there are fundraisers being set up to help find them a home. For items that people may want to donate or for more information on the fundraising events call 731-5716 Bobbie Allen, sister of Betty Jo. Also financial donations can be sent in Betty Jo’s name to Bobbie @ 142 Westwood Ave. in Millinocket, or Julie Pulkkinen 85 Michigan Street in Millinocket. Barbara Kimball another sister along with Bobbie is organizing a talent show providing permission from the principal at Stearns gives them permission. Anyone interested in performing can contact either Barbara @1-772-519-8391 or on face book or Bobbie. Dancers, singers, instrumentalists, are all invited to participate. Once the dates are set in stone for the show and other events they will be posted.
