Film screenings to benefit Youth Ministry

BANGOR, Maine — St. Paul the Apostle Parish will sponsor two special screenings of “Mary of Nazareth” at 2 and 5 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Bangor Mall Cinemas. All proceeds will benefit the parish’s youth ministry.

“Mary of Nazareth” is a full-length feature film about the life of Mary, mother of Christ, from her childhood through the resurrection of Jesus. Directed by acclaimed European film director Giacomo Campiotti, the movie was filmed in Europe in authentic locales and was viewed by Pope Benedict XVI.

Tickets are $5 per person with a family package available for $12, and can be purchased at St. John Catholic Church on York Street in Bangor, or at www.stpaulbangor.weshareonline.org.
